Distracted Driving: Stop Texting and Driving

Are you comfortable driving with your eyes closed? No? Then stop texting and driving.

Using your phone while driving is the same as driving with your eyes closed. It is not safe, and I do not recommend it. That phone call or text can wait until you reach your destination, and if it can’t, pull over before you take the call or answer the text because answering that phone is not worth your life.

It only takes a split second for an accident to happen. Car accidents happen way to often and distracted driving has been one of the causes of such accidents. Do whatever you need to do to stop yourself from participating in distractions while behind the wheel.

After all, it is not just your life you are putting in danger, but also the lives of the innocent humans around you. They choose to drive safely but end up getting punished for your stupidity.

Think about it. Do you want that to haunt you forever? Do you want to be responsible for the death of someone? No, right? Then avoid distractions while you are driving and keep your eyes on the road.

Final Thoughts

No amount of recklessness or speed is more important than your life. It is always better to be late than dead. Be safe behind the wheel because even if you may not care about your own life, think about all the other lives you are putting in danger just because you don’t care.

Comment below your experience with drivers that were texting or on their phone.
