  • Very cautious driver
  • Always on alert and aware of surroundings
  • Depends on her mood where she wants to drive or not

Driving Thoughts:

  • Other countries really do find a way to make anything work with whatever they have
  • I feel comfortable driving a car in the U.S., but I will never drive a car in South East Asia
  • Driving a car in Asia just slows you down

Driving Pet Peeve:

  • People who tail you in the U.S.
  • People who honk for no reason in Asia 

New Driving Law:

  • Somehow stop people from tailgating 

Driving in Vietnam & Bali:

  • People drive on sidewalks and the wrong side of the road
  • People run red lights like it’s no big deal
  • Honking is its own language
  • No tow trucks
  • Driving laws are not really enforced 

Driving in Mexico:

  • Very lax on the rules
  • Wearing seat belts is not enforced 

Tips for Drivers:

  • Always wear a helmet when riding a motorbike, even in countries where it is not enforced
  • Try to be a more cautious driver – it would make roads much safer
