Shannon was taking a trip in Sri Lanka and they had hired a driver to take them around, but it did not go as well as they had planned. The car constantly kept overheating and to make matters worse it was extremely hot outside and they had to keep the AC off. This did not help with her motion sickness at all.

Shannon Martin has lived on 3 different continents and traveled extensively before returning to Spain, where her husband and her live now. She believes in continuing to explore and learn through travel, reading, and listening to podcasts.
