After 53 days and driving through 18 countries during the Mongol Rally, Scott and his brother endured more than the average car problems, like having to visit went to 10 mechanics, getting towed 7 times, having 2 broken axles, a blown head gasket, a busted radiator, a broken drive shaft tire blowout, and an emergency rescue in Mongolia.
Scott Gurian, a Peabody award-winning journalist and host of Far From Home, has done everything from wandering through abandoned buildings in Chernobyl to attending a hallucinogenic healing ceremony in Peru. Having been all around the world, Scott shared his many driving adventures and driving mishaps that occurred during his adventures, like the time he had to bribe a police officer with vodka.
