Have you ever dropped everything and decided to go on a road trip around the U.S., encountered Gypsies who pointed a revolver at you or been strip searched at the Mexico border? Our guest today has experienced it all, and more. Eric Slivoskey, a freelance writer, football coach, stand-up comedian, and personal development coach, decided to take his friend’s offer on going on a spontaneous road trip around the country. Along the way they ran into Gypsies in Florida (and the same Gypsies in New Mexico), were told to pay cash for speeding or they would end up in jail, and were strip searched when crossing the Mexico border.
He has even traveled overseas and has had to sit in the back of a police car in Finland and been on a wild taxi drive in Germany with a Croatian ex-prisoner.
As a driver, Eric loves being on the open road. He is a rule follower, but doesn’t like when people cut him off or don’t use their turn signals.
