Have you ever went to great lengths to repair damage to a rental car so you could hide it from the rental company? Our guest, Jen Ruiz, a lawyer turned travel blogger and author, did just that when she rented a car in New Zealand. She did not have insurance on the car and there was no way that she was going to tell the rental company of this incidence. So what did she do? Did her best to cover it up. And that is only the start of some of her crazy driving stories. She has also backed up straight into a ditch in upstate New York, accidently drove into a Politician’s private driveway in Lisbon, and almost ran out of gas in Havasu Falls.
As a driver, Jen loves driving on the open highway where she can relax and use cruise control, but be careful tailgating around her because that is a huge pet peeve.
