About
Get Ready to Drive with sisters, Bhavneet and Taranjit, as they chat with every day and professional drivers from around the world about their craziest driving experiences, driving pet peeves, driving fails, and more.
Having a 3 hour round trip commute each of their own, these two sisters from Maryland have seen and experienced the craziness that is drivers of today and have made it their mission to connect the world through driving.
Each week, a new driver takes you on an adventurous ride around the world filled with relatable and sometimes very crazy driving stories. Like the time one driver flushed her rental keys down the toilet or the time a truck driver got in an accident with a pool tube or how annoying it is when someone doesn’t use their blinker.
Can you relate to any of these stories? Tune in every Thursday for a new episode!
Bhavneet
(Baav-neat)
A Clinical Data Manager by day and podcast host by night, lives in Maryland with her siblings and parents. She is the middle child and loves crafty art projects. You can find her spending her free time painting or even cross-stitching a large picture of her with her mom by hand. (Yes, you read that right. She did that for fun!).
Call her crazy, but she loves her 3 hour daily (roundtrip) commute to and from work. That’s just how much she enjoys driving. But with driving comes all the crazy drivers. From constantly being cut off to almost getting rammed into, she still would much rather go for a long drive than sit at home all day.
Fast facts: loves the color turquoise, wants a pet dog, and rather eat food than make it (cooking is not her thing).
Taranjit
(Ta-run-jeet)
A Cancer Therapeutics Quality Assurance Specialist by day and (you guessed it) podcaster by night. The oldest child in the family, she also lives with her parents and siblings (as all Indian children do – Indian parents don’t let you move out until marriage). You can find her spending free time in the kitchen trying new recipes or playing board games with family.
Like her sister, she also enjoys driving for fun, but not as much as Bhavneet does. She usually lets Bhavneet do the driving if there is the option, especially after all the near-close incidents she experienced while on the road. From two separate deer accidents to almost getting sandwiched in between a rear-ended collision.
Fast facts: Favorite animal is the giraffe, loves the color purple, and is not a big sweets person (give her savory over sweet any day, except for ice cream – no one can get enough of ice cream).
